The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed Al-Zayani revealed the details of the Amphibious Bus Project, which is expected to be operational by the middle of this year as announced earlier. He pointed out that two buses will be operated in the first phase, with a goal to make them 7 buses in the next stages of the project.

The minister said in his statements on the sidelines of the ceremony of announcing the winners of Bahrain Food Excellence Award, that the one-hour tour of the amphibious bus will 45 minutes in the water, and other 45 minutes on streets, and will cover the areas of Manama and Al-Fateh and King Faisal Corniches in addition to Seef District.

As for the expected date of the project launching, Al-Zayani said that all preparations are ready and that they are waiting for buses to arrive in order to start operating the trips.
