Iftar meets are being held by numerous associations and organization where hundreds of people from different walks of life gathered and bond over food. A grand Iftar and dinner were organized by the Pakistan Club administration at the Pakistan Club premises in Manama which was attended by Pakistani community members.

Pakistan Club Chairman Eng. Rehan Ahmed briefed on the activities of the Club and highlighted the success of on-going “Ramadan Cricket Tournament 2019” which started on 6th May with a grand opening ceremony comprising of 47 local teams.

Naats were recited and special prayers were made regarding Muslim Ummah, peace, safety, security and harmony for all residents of Bahrain, gulf and Pakistan.

Albilad also had reported that the Kozhikode Jilla Pravasi Forum, Friends social association also held meets were combined thousands of people from all over Bahrain came to attend.

Speaking on such event was Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam president P V Radhakrishna Pillai who highlighted the importance of such events.

“Nowadays we see that Gulf countries have become great examples for other countries. In Bahrain, we see so many Iftar meets during this month and I don’t think we can see this kind of meets anywhere else. here is also a lot of importance to this Iftar because we see people from different religious backgrounds, professions and scholars coming together and bonding” said BKS President P V Radhakrishnan Pillai.

During the holy month of Ramadan, many organizations will be conducting Iftar meets which will help unite people from different communities and bring them under one roof.
