Housing Minister Basem bin Yacoub Al-Hamer has started tackling of citizens whose social and health conditions require urgent accommodation.
Addressing the ministry’s council which convened today, he stressed the keenness of His Majesty the King and the Government to ensure citizens decent living standards and providing social housing.
He stressed the ministry’s resolve to expand the housing options and fast-track work on units and flats. He underlined the ministry’s success in providing more than 25,000 units over the past four years.
“The Government spared no efforts to provide housing that cater to people with special needs and ensure them stable living conditions”, he said, adding that many units have been allocated for them in the projects which are under construction.
The ministry has also redesigned units of the families having members with special needs, taking into account their health conditions.
