Deputy Attorney General of the Capital Governorate Noora al-Mualla said that the Public Prosecutor's Office ordered the detention of five accused of publicly violating the rules of the holy Ramadan, after being apprehended by the security department eating and drinking in a public road.

The Public Prosecution ordered them to be held in custody after they were charged with publicly violating the religion of Islam and defaming its rituals, as they constituted a violation of the principles and values of the Islamic religion.
