Smuggling large quantities of narcotics on the King Fahad Causeway was successfully aborted, stated Director of the Customs Department of Land Ports in Customs Affairs.

He added that that customs officers of the King Fahd Causeway have succeeded in aborting smuggling big quantities of cannabis and a number of drug pills smuggled in a car pumper.

About the details, he explained that as soon as the vehicles arrived at the passenger’s yard, while the officer was conducting a routine patrol on the same path, a dog gave an indication of one of the vehicles. In the inspection, officers suspected that cannabis was hidden in the front bumper of the vehicle.
