An initiative that was launched to provide refreshments to workers in construction sites has completed its fourth series. The Indian Community Relief Fund (“ICRF”) distributed bottled water and fruits to around 150 construction workers at a work-site in Seef yesterday.

This is the fourth of a series that has been added to ICRF’s program for the summer. ICRF Thirst-Quenchers intend to continue this weekly event for 8 to 10 weeks in various work-sites.

ICRF distributed bottled water and fruits to around 100 construction workers at a work-site in Budaiya which marked the third series. More than 100 construction workers at a work-site in Juffair received bottled water and fruits. Over 350 construction workers were provided with bottled water and fruits in the past weeks.

ICRF distributed these resources to the construction workers of Al Namal Group at their worksite in Juffair. This was the first of the series and ICRF Thirst-Quenchers intends to continue this weekly event bringing a form of comfort and relief.

Apart from these activities, ICRF also conducts their regular activities such as medical aid, legal aid, immigration support, financial and legal support.
