Director-General of Customs Inspection and Security, Brigadier Abdullah Al Kubaisi, has announced that the Customs Affairs continues to offer its services during Arafa and Eid Al Adha holidays by clearing goods and containers at Khalifa bin Salman Port from 8 am to 12 noon.
He called upon those who want to clear containers to book appointments within the allocated time in cooperation with the operating company.
He clarified that the move aims to prevent delay in the arrival of the products of importers.
He said that the customs clearance at the land and air shipment sections would continue round the clock and the customs clearance agents could process their applications via the e-customs system.
Customs Affairs is dedicated to removing all obstacles and simplifing procedures to facilitate the traffic of goods through customs ports.
