A young Bahraini driver escaped death with minor injuries after his car deteriorated and flipped twice, the Ministry of Interior announced on its official social media accounts.
The ministry stated that the car, in which there were four passengers, flipped over and was heavily damaged.
Preliminary information about details of the accident, which occurred a few hours ago on Al-Quds Street in Isa Town, indicate that the young driver hit hard the pavement due to lack of attention and noncompliance with the traffic regulations. As a result, he lost control on the steering wheel and collided with the pavement. His car overturned twice, the report stated, in the middle of the street and settled on the grass and an iron fence on the sides of the street. The four passengers were transferred to the nearest hospital.
Traffic police were present at the site and closed the road precautionary to prevent traffic jams.
The Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic stated that they initiated an investigation into the accident to figure out circumstances of the incident.
