Two big fire incidents in two different areas were safely controlled, the Ministry of Interior announced through its official social media accounts.
The ministry stated that the General Directorate of Civil Defense managed to put out and control the two fire incidents in Saar and Hamad Town with zero injuries, but left huge damages.
Not much of information was officially revealed, but preliminary information indicates that no injuries were recorded thanks to the quick response and efforts by the General Directorate of Civil Defense's firefighters who evacuated the houses and managed to prevent fire from spreading to the rest of the nearby buildings. As for the cause of the fire incidents, it is thought to be due to a short circuit and negligence in electricity connections
The Ministry of the Interior assured that everything was under control and the necessary official procedures were taken by concerned authorities.
The ministry urged all residents to take maximum precautions in general and those regarding electricity connections to avoid dangerous incidents that might put souls in danger, especially, the ministry noted, that the rain season is around the corner.
