“The Bahrain International Airport’s (BIA) long-term car parking will be closed from November 10,” announced the BIA’s operating company Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) on its official social media accounts and website.

BAC explained that the closure of the car parking, which is located in the Galali area and intended for passengers wishing to park for more than one day, was due to the end of the holiday season and public holidays. BAC assured that it will be re-opened in the coming seasons.

BAC confirmed that long-term parking (D) located behind the Mövenpick Hotel will remain open at BD3 per day, and short-term parking (A) located near the passenger terminal will also remain open at 500 fils for the first hour and 10 dinars per day.

New terminal opens before 2019 ends

It is noteworthy that the CEO of the Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, earlier assured that the BIA’s new terminal will be opened before the end of 2019. He earlier stated that preparations were in full swing to officially open the new terminal.
