As part of the Kingdom’s celebration of the Bahraini Women’s Day, the Royal Charity Organization (RCO) organized a special ceremony in honor of its employees and in appreciation of their pioneering role in philanthropic and humanitarian work inside Bahrain and abroad.
RCO Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed hailed the initiatives of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council of Women, lauding Her Highness’s outstanding efforts to achieve success in empowerment of the Bahraini women.
Her Royal Highness’s efforts that reflect the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa adding moral value to the Bahraini women’s exemplary ambitious and persistent accomplishments, he said.
Dr. Al Sayed pointed out that the logo of the Bahraini Women’s Day this year “The Bahraini Women in the Field of Higher Education and Future Sciences) confirms the aspirations and role of the Bahraini women in the advancement of the nation and assuming numerous positions and attainment of highest academic status, ever since the first school for girls was inaugurated in Bahrain, Khadija Al Kubra School which has been active from 1928 until today in the field of education." He reiterated the RCO’s pride in its highly educated staff members.
He congratulated all the RCO employees on the Bahraini Women’s Day, lauding their persistent efforts in the RCO accomplishments and contributions under the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and loyal efforts to serve orphans and widows and the needy that reflects the huge diligence our beloved Kingdom to provide services to its dear citizens.
