Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, today celebrated Bahraini Women’s Day at the airline’s headquarter in Muharraq. The celebration included a ‘talk show’ event which featured a number of Bahraini female staff from Gulf Air and two external Bahraini women as guest speakers to talk about and share their career experiences. Gulf Air’s Bahraini female workforce represents all the airline’s divisions, ranks and levels of expertise from cabin crew to country managers and executive roles.

Bahraini Women’s Day is celebrated annually on 1st December as part of an initiative by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) to honor the achievements and valuable insights and contribution made by Bahraini women towards the development and progress of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
