Electricity and Water Affairs Minister, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, received the Moroccan Ambassador to Bahrain, Mustapha Benkhayi and praised the close ties between the two brotherly countries, reinforced by joint cooperation in various fields.

The two sides discussed ways of enhancing cooperation, exchanging experiences and transferring knowledge in the field of electricity and water, capacity building and developing cooperation between Bahrain and Morocco.

They discussed the most important projects carried out by the Electricity and Water Authority in line with Bahrain’s  Economic Vision 2030and its national strategy to achieve the requirements of urban and population growth.

The Moroccan Ambassador congratulated the minister on his appointment to his post, and thanked him for the welcome and the hospitality.

He expressed his country’s determination and readiness to strengthen existing cooperation with Bahrain in the electricity and water sector to serve the interests and aspirations of the peoples of the two brotherly countries.

The minister wished the ambassador every success in carrying out his diplomatic duties to contribute to supporting and strengthening close ties and bilateral coordination in all fields.
