A construction contracting company trapped dozens of Bahraini families, when it seized financial amounts of nearly a quarter of a million dinars before fleeing abroad, which made these families clueless.

One of the victims told “Al-Bilad” that most of the company's transactions are carried out according to documented agreements, and the company receives different down payments in most of the time the amount is around 30 thousand dinars from each applicant.

This amount is in return of completing housing projects, and that most of the affected people are under the social housing service (Mazaya).

He pointed out that the affected people were shocked by receiving the list of lawsuit declaring the bankruptcy of the company after the escape of its owners.
