India’s rich folklore and culture were showcased by students at ‘Bhavanotsav 2019’ event. Organised by the Bahrain Indian School, the senior wing students displayed India as a land of diverse cultures and a rich heritage which has a glorious lineage. The Chief Guest Renu Yadav, Second secretary, Indian Embassy was felicitated and honoured with a memento followed by the release of Annual Magazine.

The Annual Day of the senior wing featured dance and the famous tragedy of Shakespeare King Lear which was staged by budding dramatists. The Annual report highlighted the achievements of Bhavanites in academics and extracurricular activities.

‘Earth is God’s best gift to us, we made it worse. Let’s care for it, save the green’ resounded in Bahrain Cultural Hall as students of junior wing highlighted the topic and up swung the mood with marvellous performances. The Chief Guest Norbu Negi, Second Secretary (HOC, Com ), Embassy of India was felicitated and honoured with a memento.

Foot tapping numbers were showcased by the tiny tots which featured the elements of nature. A dance drama was also staged by Grade 1 and 2 that focused on the discovery of fire, water through rain, making earth green. The show ended with the “Heal the World” song.
