The General Directorate of Civil Defense, represented by the Protection and Safety Department, made a technical and field visit to the aircraft fuel field in the airport expansion project, in order to ensure the availability of fire protection requirements in the project in terms of fire alarm and extinguishing systems, and construction requirements.

The technical team included officers and individuals in addition to the head of the Facilities Inspection Branch of the Protection and Safety Department of the Civil Defense, inspecting several sites and fuel supply points, fuel stations, and aircraft fuel tanks, in addition to fire pump rooms and power stations, low voltage stations and a building Operations and Control Management and Oil Tank Workshops.

This technical and field visit comes as one of the ongoing visits, which are coordinated with the management of Bahrain International Airport to protect lives and property.
