A group of cages was set up to hunt stray dogs in Arad area. This action was taken by the concerned authorities after publishing residents’ complaints about the excessive spread of stray dogs in Arad residential areas (http://en.albiladpress.com/article/33208)
Residents told Albilad newspaper that workers of a company charged with this task had taken a tour in the neighborhoods of the area where stray dogs were present and set up a group of cages. They also sent video clips of the workers and pictures of the cages and the workers while the cages were being set up.
They expressed their hope of catching all dogs, conduct the necessary veterinary tests and taking the necessary action in accordance with the provisions of animal welfare law.
It is noteworthy that the recently published story stated that citizens and residents of block number 246 in Arad continue to suffer from the problem of stray dogs. This came in an exclusive report prepared by Albilad Arabic newspaper. The report noted that the stray digs’ terror continues without a serious solution from the relevant authorities to maintain the safety of all in general and children in particular.
