In line with its strategy that aims at empowering its members and reinforcing their growth and in a bid to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain as a favorable business and investment destination, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has recently signed a cooperation agreement with ‘The Business Year’.
From the Chamber’s side, its Chief Executive Officer Mr. Shaker Al Shater signed the agreement, and Country Manager Ms. Yohana Bolivar Rojas signed it on behalf of ‘The Business Year’.
The signing ceremony was held at BCCI’s premises in the presence of Deputy Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdulla Al Sada.
In this regard, Mr. Al Shater expressed pride in the chamber’s partnership with such prestigious platform as ‘The Business Year’, and affirmed that ‘This is one of many initiatives the chamber is taking to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain and empower local businesses’.
‘We are intensifying our efforts in line with the country’s ambitious economic vision and keenness on enhancing the contribution of the private sector to the national economy and diversifying sources of income,’ he added, noting that ‘This is an invaluable opportunity to provide our members with international exposure, while at the same time raise awareness of the advanced ecosystem of Bahrain, highlight partnership and investment opportunities, and underline Bahrain’s fertile investment environment.’
‘We strongly believe in the potentials of local businesses and will spare no effort to streamline their expansion and contribute to their success,’ he also said.
