Out of 39 participants for the training programme began in January 2019 concluded with 19 graduates, while 6 scored excellent. Among the new graduates, there are tour guides who speaks Arabic, English, Russian, French, Thai, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, Telugu, Turkish & Kazakhstani.

Visiting section of Ahmed Al Fateh Islamic center receives around 60,000 visitors annually from all different parts of the world. Having tour guides with multi lingual abilities is essential to the center to provide all visitors with tours in their respective language. Visiting section aims at promoting the peaceful message of Islam amongst non-Muslim visitors by removing misconceptions about Islam and by providing authentic information on religion to the visitors. Currently the visiting section operates with only one officially appointed staff from Ministry of Islamic Affairs & 4 part-time employees. Without the contribution of the team of volunteers attending to more than half a million visitors yearly is almost a mission impossible. Therefore, conducting programs to train the volunteers to become tour guides is a regular necessity that the center is trying to cope with irrespective of the shortage of staff to attend all activities at the center. Alhamdulillah, by the Grace of Allah the tour guide training programme for 2019 was a great success in overcoming all obstacles.

In addition to the local trainers, Ahmed al Fateh Islamic center was able to have Ustadh Saqib Hussein from Oxford University- UK, Ustadh Nooruddeen Lemu from Islamic Educational Trust- Nigeria to enhance the performances of the trainees.

During this ceremony Sh. Esam Ishaq honored 19 graduates with Certificates & gifts, while Dr. Najmah Muhammed, the training in charge of the center honored the 8 local trainers who tirelessly participated throughout the year in training the new tour guides.

On this happy occasion, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Chief of Ahmad Al Fateh Islamic Center, expressed his sincere gratitude to Dr. Najmah Muhammed and the visiting section staff & volunteers for their efforts & contribution in teaching & training the new comers to the Centre. He also congratulated and thanked the trainees who graduated for their success & sincere efforts in learning and providing positive contribution to the society.

On this auspicious occasion Sheikh Mohammed expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the government and the Kingdom’s wise leadership for their dedication and contribution in realizing the noble vision of the Centre. He prayed Almighty Allah for continuous support to serve the religion and the valued Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty the King Hamad Bin Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa.
