Six Grammy award winners and two Grammy nominees came together to perform for children at the global ‘My Earth Songs for Every Child’ concert.

Organized by Grammy Award-winning composer and music producer and UNICEF India celebrity supporter Ricky Kej, the concert supported UNICEF’s #ReimagineCampaign towards building a more sustainable world and a better future for every child.

“Through this concert, we aimed to raise awareness on UNICEF’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Donations received from this global concert will support UNICEF’s #Reimagine Campaign to prevent the COVID-19 Pandemic from becoming a lasting crisis for children," said Jean Gough, Regional Director, UNICEF South Asia.

The eight illustrious children’s music artists performed selected songs from the ‘My Earth Songs’ album, composed by Ricky Kej, that he jointly launched with UNICEF in 2018.

The set of 27 songs for children and young people highlighted the condition of the planet and the actions needed to ensure a clean, green, equal and prosperous world for future generations.

“The ‘My Earth Songs for Every Child’ concert, brought much needed, meaningful entertainment to children, especially during these unusual times of the Pandemic,” said Ricky Kej.
