The Cabinet approved a parliamentary proposal to halt foreign street vendors’ activities. This was officially announced to all media.

The Cabinet's approval was to stop all foreign street vendors and take the necessary legal measures to prevent street vendors in all places like markets, roads, and places of worship.

The Cabinet mandated the Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning to coordinate with the relevant authorities to carry out the decision.

It is noteworthy that the approval came after a number of disputes occurred recently in which vendors assaulted security personnel who tried to stop their violations.
