Two types of face masks would be banned from being exported for three months. This was announced by the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed Al-Zayani, through its official website and social media accounts.

The ministerial decision, issued today, stated that the ministry banned exporting face masks types “N95-Face” and “PFF3-Face” without prior permission from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

According to the ministry, violators to the provisions of the decision shall be punished with the penalties stipulated in Decree-Law No. (18) for the year 1975 determining prices and controlling them.

It is noteworthy that last April, the Minister issued a decree banning the export of all kinds of medical masks for 3 months.
