Bahrain came second in the Gulf region in the cost of mobile data for July 2020. This is according to the “Visual Capitalist” website.
The website ranked the Kingdom in the fifth position in the Arab world in the same category for the month of July 2020.
In a recent study conducted on comparing the price levels of telecommunications services among 155 countries for the cost of 1 GB of mobile phone data in each country, the site considered the prices of mobile and internet services in Bahrain were among the lowest at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. Bahrain came second after Saudi Arabia. Bahrain was ranked fifth in the Arab world at the lowest cost of internet and phone services, and 79 globally.
