The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has announced that the online registration for the scholarships of the academic year 2019-2019 for its sponsored students will be open from July 14 to 30.
RHF Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayad said that in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who is also RHF’s Honorary President, and the support of HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and RHF’s Board of Trustees Chairman, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the RHF is keen to continue its educational care programmes for its sponsored students, including the provision of scholarships on an annual basis.
In this regard, Director of Social Care at RHF, Ali Qambar, said that based on the royal directives, the RHF allocates 50 scholarships every year, adding that 900 students have benefited from the RHF’s scholarship up to now.
He pointed out that the new academic year scholarships will be allocated to studying in the Kingdom, specifically at the University of Bahrain, the Bahrain Polytechnic and the College of Health Sciences, adding that admission will be based on the highest grades.
Eligible students include RHF-sponsored graduates of 2019-2020, with Grade Point Averages (GPA) between 75% and 89.99%. Also, they must have been accepted by the UoB, the Bahrain Polytechnic or the College of Health Sciences, and must not have obtained a scholarship from any other party.
The RHF called on those wishing to receive its scholarships to register on its website, fill in the form and attach colored PDF copies of the required documents.
