Over 7,656 Covid-19 tests were conducted on Monday (03 August) health officials confirmed.
The Ministry of Health detected 299 new cases of the COVID-19 in foreign workers, contacts and some from recent arrivals to the island kingdom, according to health officials.
Health officials said that 121 expatriate workers were detected with the virus in the past 24 hours, 178 others were infected from local contacts.
The Ministry of Health also confirmed that 341 patients recovered from coronavirus bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 39,007 so far.
The latest update (03 August) reveals that there are currently 75 Covid-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 48 are in a critical condition. Over 2,630 cases are stable out of a total of 2,678 active cases. The total number of discharged recovered cases totals to 39,007.
Bahrain has conducted over 850,648 tests. Bahrain reported three fatalities - a male citizen, 58, and two expats, a 68-year-old male and a 43-year-old female, taking the total number of deaths in Bahrain due to the coronavirus to 150.
