Private training institutions are set to re-open on September 3, after several months of suspension, as part of the kingdom’s measures to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The move is based on the decisions of the Government Executive Committee, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and the report of the National Medical Task Force to Combat the Coronavirus (COVID-19), headed by Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health.

In this regard, Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, issued an administrative circular to private training institutions on the resumption of their training activities starting from September 3 and until further notice.

The training facilities will resume their activities according to the precautionary measures recommended by the National Medical Task Force to Combat the Coronavirus in order to protect the safety and health of the affiliates of those sites, as well as to curb the spread of the pandemic.
