The Food Control Department in coordination with the Inspection Department of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority have administratively shut down one of the “Tourist Classified” outlet in Adliya as a result of violating the precautionary measures to combat the spread (Covid-19) issued by the concerned authorities.
The department said that due to the violation by that outlet of the regulatory procedures and requirements that must be followed in Ministerial Resolution No. 51 of 2020 regarding health requirements to be applied in restaurants and cafes to contain the current situation of (Covid-19).

The restaurant said to exceed the reservations limit in addition to not registering Customers' data in the reservation list, the manager of the restaurant also attempted to conceal information and mislead the judicial officer, which are considered violations of the instructions issued in this regard in the current situation.
The Public Health Department pointed out that there was a coordination between judicial officers of both The Food Control Department and The Inspection Department of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority. The violations have been detected and outlet was administratively closed, in preparation for administrative and legal measures in this regard.
