Bahrain condemned the terrorist attack which targeted a hotel and office complex in Nairobi, Kenya. The attack, which was claimed by Somali militant group Al-Shabab, resulted in the death and injury of a number of people.

The Foreign Ministry affirmed Bahrain’s solidarity with Kenya against violence and terrorism. It expressed its deep condolences to the families of the victims and wished those injured a speedy recovery. It also stressed Bahrain’s firm stance in rejecting all forms of extremism and terrorism, regardless of their motives and causes.
