Osama Al Absi, CEO of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), said that the new system of domestic workers (the updated version) will start on March 10, which will base on submitting the application electronically to get 4 transactions done in one step alternatively.

The new electronic system aims to facilitate the completion of permits procedures and reduce the number of visits to government agencies by more than 50%, adding that among the updates that will take place on the new system is the conduction of biological data for domestic workers at Bahrain International Airport in the same manner applied to the commercial and government sectors, without any increase in the issuance fees for domestic labor permits.
