An Ordinary General Assembly Meeting was held virtually via electronic means of communication by the Bahrain Chamber due to the exceptional circumstances as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and in line with the national directives and efforts to curb the spread of the virus.

During the meeting, Bahrain Chamber Chairman Sameer Nass praised the National efforts to combat the coronavirus spearheaded by the His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the government headed by the Premier His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the wise directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.

He also hailed launching a comprehensive economic stimulus package to support and invigorate the national economy.

During the meeting, items listed in the agenda were discussed, namely discussing and approving the Annual Report of the Board of Directors on the activities of the chamber for the year 2019; discussing and approving the financial position and the report of the External Auditor for the Financial Year 2019; and appointing an External Auditor.

On the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Bahrain Chamber extended its wishes to Bahrain’s leadership, the people of Bahrain and the Islamic World on the occasion and wished them a very blessed month.

Bahrain Chamber also advised its members to benefit from the array of services available on its official website and mobile application, particularly in light of the current situation as a result of the coronavirus and the importance of taking preventive measures and abiding by social distancing.
