His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives to increase the monthly allowances for the 11,000 orphans and widows sponsored by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) were hailed.

Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal hailed the directives which, she said, reflects HM the King’s keenness on continuing efforts to ease the financial burdens on orphans and widows.

She lauded HM the King’s initiatives which reached out to all social segments, particularly orphans and widows, to cater to their needs and ensure decent living conditions for all citizens.

She hailed the directives to increase monthly allowances, as reflecting Bahrain’s humane approach, as the country combats the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Speaker hailed the RHF-led role, chaired by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor.
