The Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Essam Khalaf confirmed the re-operation of Al-Malikiyah market to serve the village and the surrounding areas by providing basic needs such as fish, meat, vegetables and many other supplies.
This came in the minister's inspection visit to the market, accompanied by a number of ministry officials.
The minister directed to resume the market activities by cleaning and preparing the site again and with more frequent inspections and control in order to provide the services needed for the people of the area.
He pointed out that the ministry has studied the needs of the area, as the current market property, which has an area of 970.97 square meters, will constitute a qualitative addition to with a large number of services in one location with adequate parking on site.
