One of the biggest MMA figures in the Middle East, Lebanon’s Mohammad Fakhreddine looks to become the new BRAVE Combat Federation Middleweight world champion revealed BRAVE CF.

On September 17th, he will travel to the Kingdom of Bahrain to headline BRAVE CF 41 against reigning titleholder Daniel Gaucho. It will be a battle between two of the top strikers in the division, and fans around the world and in the Kingdom can expect fireworks from this main event contest.

For Fakhreddine, BRAVE CF 41 represents a chance for redemption after a difficult year. He has dealt with multiple setbacks throughout 2020, beginning, of course, with the Covid-19 outbreak, which tampered his ability to train full-time.

He has also been dealing with the loss of his house in a fire, and the explosion that affected thousands of people in his beloved Beirut, Lebanon, last August. While he has been unaffected, Fakhreddine knows people who have had to deal with the aftermath of the tragedy, as he has been living only ten minutes away from the Beirut port, where the explosion took place.

When 2020 seemed to be a dark year for Mohammad, the opportunity came to fight for the world title at BRAVE CF, his home since 2016. Fakhreddine has a long history with the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world, as he was scheduled to headline their first-ever show, back in September of 2016. An injury prevented him from doing so, and his debut came at BRAVE CF 4, when he knocked out Brazil’s Vinicius Cruz.
