Viral news about resuming the issuance of on-arrival visas for 68 countries is not true,” this was announced by the Ministry of Interior on its official social media accounts.
The ministry noted that the rumor was spread from a fake account under the name of the Nationality, Passport, and Residence Affairs (NPRA).
The ministry assured that matters of departure and return were carried out according to the previously announced procedures that are currently in force. It demanded to get information from its official sources.
It is noteworthy that the fake announcement, spread last Saturday, stated that the NPRA announced resuming on-arrival visas for nationals of 68 countries at Bahrain’s ports. It added that residents of the GCC countries could also get the on-arrival visas, except the citizens and residents of Qatar and they have to get their visas before coming to the Kingdom.
